Power Rankings

Friends, we have arrived at the end of the regular season, and that means the rankings you are now reading will be the last you read (for a while, at least). In this final installment for the 2023 season, I have swapped out the Stud/Dud section and replaced it with each team's MVP candidate for the season, the player I deemed to be the most critical to their team's success (however much or little of it they enjoyed). In addition, as a special treat, I will also go through Joe Ross' predictions for each team this year, which he provided in episode 1 of this year's Talking Points. Enjoy, and au revoir! 1. Ahoy, league members! The regular season is approaching its end, and (almost) all the playoff teams have been decided. Since the final rankings (Week 14) is reserved for the season-in-review analysis, a different concept had to be brought in to keep this format fresh (least we resort back to a more stale version, which isn't what you come here to read!). With this in mind, and with the recent conclusion of the NCAA football season, it seems fitting to make that the theme. Therefore, I present each of the last four matchups in this upcoming week, (complete with a named sponsor, of course!). Each 'bowl game' will have its own rundown of what is at stake, as well as a key player or situation for every team involved. For those of you who are excited by this concept: Read on, Dear Viewer.
